All 6th, 7th and 8th grade students in danger of failing.
Target Group selected on basis of following data:
Students with a GPA below 1.3 on first Trimester report card.

Results – 6th Grade GPA Improvement
64 (37%) improved GPA from Trimester 1 to Trimester 2.
57%57% of the targeted students earned a 2.0 or better GPA from Trimester 1 to Trimester 3.
Results – 7th Grade GPA Improvement
47 (24%) improved GPA from Trimester 1 to Trimester 2.
52% of targeted students earned a 2.0 or better GPA from Trimester 1 to Trimester 3.

46 (72%) improved GPA from Trimester 1 to Trimester 2.
85% of targeted students earned a 2.0 or better GPA from Trimester 1 to Trimester 3.

Implications
• Program was successful at all three grade levels • The smaller the number of students served, the
greater the impact, however the large group showed a greater number of students who improved.
• Next year we may need to lower group size, utilize field work students to assist, enlist support and help from teacher as well.
• Look into impact of intervention on homework completion
