The national day is one of the most important festivals in Bahrain. It takes place on December 16,17 and lasts for two days. Decorations, national flags and pictures of royal family are put up all over Bahrain. People wear traditional clothes and let off fireworks to celebrate the national day. Red and white lights are everywhere.

I attended it last year. It was really exciting and I was very happy. I enjoyed it very much. I saw the king waving his hand to the people. I also saw people performing the sword dance. My friends and I went to Adhari Park and had wonderful time. At night, I visited my relatives.

If you think of going to Bahrain, try not to miss this great event. It is a chance to have fun.
