WPCC-BOARD ROOM VGA INSTRUCTIONS

WPCC-BOARD ROOM|VGA-LAPTOP CONNECTION TUTORIAL

1) Go to Podium and use keyboard/mouse to make sure you are logged in under ConfWP260eboardroom2 username.

2) Go to the PASSWORD and type in THE EXACT WORDS password#2 and then SELECT ENTER.

3) Now locate CRESTRON TOUCH-SCREEN. Once it is located find tabs DISPLAY-LEFT and DISPLAY-RIGHT. First, press DISPLAY-LEFT and select ON. Next, press DISPLAY-RIGHT and select ON. Last, locate the LAPTOP-ICON and SELECT for DISPLAY LEFT/RIGHT.

4) Now, LOCATE the PODIUM’S-SLIDING-DOOR and PLACE LAPTOP within the AVAILABLE SPACE.

5) Now you should locate the VGA-CONNECTOR with LAPTOP-LABEL in PODIUM’S SLIDING_DOOR. At

this time locate your available VGA-CABLE.


6) Next, locate the CONNECTOR-TYPE(S) on the REAR or SIDES of the PC/MAC-LAPTOP. Once you have determined the appropriate CONNECTION-TYPE(S) [I.E. VGA, THUNDERBOLT, DISPLAY-PORT, and HDMI/MICRO-HDMI].

7) There are several CONNECTOR-TYPES as listed in STEP (6). Once you have determined what kind of CONNECTOR-TYPE your PC/MAC-LAPTOP possesses you are then able to determine if it is a straight-line connection or if you should need the CONVERSION-CABLE and CONVERSION BOX.


8) After you have plugged in the MALE-VGA-CONNECTOR to the PODIUM’S FEMALE-CONNECTOR you can take the MALE-VGA-CONNECTOR and plug into the PC/MAC-LAPTOP.

9) If content doesn’t AUTO-CONNECT when plugged in please check your DISPLAY-SETTINGS or PROJECTOR-MODE [E.G. FUNCTION-KEY] as they should MIRROR what is on the PC/MAC-LAPTOP. Also if utilizing a MAC-LAPTOP RIGHT-CLICK AND SELECT DISPLAY to DUPLICATE or EXTEND based upon whether the CURRENT END USER request to see their MS-PPT notes.

10) If content you seek for DISPLAY appears on WPCC-BR LARGE PROJECTOR SCREENS as shown in E.g. 1.1, then you should be ready to start your presentation. If content does not show on DISPLAY-LEFT/RIGHT PLEASE REPEAT STEPS 1-9.

Note: Once everything is showing you may now locate/check the function(s) of the presentation-remote/slide-advancer to ensure simultaneous/synced operation of the remote and your presentation via the receiver being plugged in the machine and batteries placed within it’s powered-housing.


11) Once you have completed all of the steps listed above you are now ready to PRESENT your GREAT MICROSOFT POWER-POINT PRESENTATION at this time.
