WHO WE ARE

In 1987 Maty Ezraty opened our first YogaWorks studio in Santa Monica, California. Maty successfully gathered many styles of yoga under one roof, which attracted the best teachers in Southern California and from across the world.

As yoga gained popularity in the U.S., the demand for well-trained yoga teachers began to grow. Seeing this need, Maty created the world-renowned YogaWorks Teacher Training program in 1990 with the help and inspiration of senior teacher Lisa Walford. Based on direct teachings from Indian yoga masters, this program has formed and guided many of today’s yoga leaders, including Seane Corn, Shiva Rea, Annie Carpenter, Natasha Rizopoulos, Vinnie Marino, Kathryn Budig and many more.

Our mission is to provide each student with the necessary foundation to skillfully teach with compassion, safety and integrity, while honoring his or her individual voice and style. Whether you join us to become a teacher or simply to deepen your own practice, the YogaWorks training will uniquely prepare you to leave your mark on the world.

ASANA - the safe & intelligent way to practice and teach yoga poses

200-HOUR TUITION INCLUDES

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN IN OUR 300-HOUR PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM

This 6-month program will give you the opportunity to build upon the material introduced in your 200-hour teacher training. Through a dedicated apprenticeship and by participating in professional workshops, our immersive 6-month program will help you hone your unique teaching style and voice.

This program is for graduates of a 200-hour Teacher Training. If your training was not through YogaWorks, you may be required to take the YogaWorks 75-hour Bridge program before the start of the 300-hour Training.
