Feng enjoyed a decorated amateur career that included nine wins in China. She won the China Junior Championship and the China Junior Open in 2004. She was a three-time winner of the China Amateur Tournament (2004-06) and also the 2006 China Women’s Amateur Open Champion.

In 2007 she was named Golfweek’s Top Chinese Amateur in 2007 after winning four tournaments

on the International Junior Golf Tour (IJGT) and qualified for the 2007 U.S. Women’s Open. Later that year, also as an amateur, Feng tied for ninth at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament to earn exempt status for the 2008 LPGA season and then turned professional immediately following the final round.

By 2012, Feng was a three time winner on the LPGA Japan Tour but made her LPGA breakthrough at The Wegmans LPGA Championship – becoming the first player from China to win a Major Championship. She went on to record 8 top ten finishes that season as well as making 18 out of 19 cuts.

In 2013 she captured her second career victory in her home country, China, at the Reignwood LPGA Classic and closed out the 2013 season with another victory at the season-ending CME Group Titleholders.

In 2014 she made 24 of 24 cuts and earned $1,404,623 as well as capturing her fourth career victory at the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia, where she matched her career-low round of 63 in the final round and crossed the $5 million mark in career earnings. She crossed the $1 million in season earnings for the third-consecutive season.

Paula Creamer

One of the most respected players on the LPGA Tour, Paula Creamer has won 10 LPGA tournaments, claimed 99 top ten finishes, banked more than US$11 million in winnings and has been ranked as high as number 2 in the Women’s World Golf Rankings, since turning professional in 2005.

As an amateur, Creamer won numerous junior golf titles, including 11 American Junior Golf Association

(AJGA) tournaments. At the age of 12, she won 13 consecutive regional junior events in northern California, and the following year she became the top-ranked female junior golfer in the state, before moving to Bradenton, Florida in 2000 and enrolling at IMG Academy.

Creamer broke on to the LPGA Tour in 2005 aged just 18 and quickly became one of the top players on the circuit, winning the Sybase Classic in May before winning the Evian Masters in July. She went on to win a further six titles between 2006 and 2008 before winning her first and only Major Championship to date at the 2010 US Women’s Open.

Made to wait for her next LPGA Tour victory Creamer sensationally captured the 2014 HSBC Women’s Champions by sinking a 75-foot eagle putt on the second playoff hole, to secure the win and send the crowd into a frenzy of excitement. The putt has since been voted ‘LPGA Putt of the Year’ for 2014 and will go down as one of the defining moments in the history of the tournament.

Due to her fondness for wearing pink, Creamer’s friend Casey Wittenberg nicknamed her the "Pink Panther". The sobriquet followed her when she turned professional. In addition to her pink outfits, Creamer sports the colour on several of her golf accessories, including her club grips and golf bag. Creamer also uses a Pink Panther club head cover, in a nod to her nickname.
