Topics include: special challenges of the sick/premature infant; symptom management, including inadequate oral motor function; sensory issues; the speech-language pathologist’s role in direct care and consultation; case studies and hands-on activities. SPEAKER: Rhonda Mattingly, EdD, CCC-SLP Dr. Mattingly is a speech-language pathologist with nearly 25 years experience. She is currently in private practice and is an Assistant Professor/Clinical Director in the School of Medicine, Department of Surgery, Division of Communicative Disorders at the University of Louisville.
