Organisational profile

• Wipro has a holistic approach to quality management. This approach embodies a conscious integration of people and processes

• At Wipro, quality has always been customer oriented. The emphasis has continuously been on integrating and implementing approaches through a simultaneous focus on defect reduction, timeliness, and productivity improvement.

Veloci-Q• Veloci-Q is a web-based, quality management system

that allows instantaneous access and facilitates sharing of knowledge and best practices among all projects within the organization.

• Veloci-Q, is a holistic, enterprise wide quality approach which integrates multiple quality processes like Six Sigma, SEI CMM, PCMM, CMMi and ISO to deliver on critical business objectives.

Purpose of the project

• The main idea of this project is to automate the review process followed in wipro i.e. veloci-Q.

• Inorder to that we have to develop a GUI tool which will mandate the completion of review on time.

Problem in the existing System

• Authors and reviewers tend to close reviews on time, manual follow-ups are required for timely closure of reviews.

• One of the critical challenge in the veloci-Q system is that it requires man power to overlook the process updates and reviews on time.

Solution to the problem

• In this project first we learn about the quality management system, veloci-Q that is followed in wipro .

• Then later we develop the tools necessary for automation of review process. The tool will overlook the problem of automation and lay guidelines for the completion of review on time.
