THE JOY OF POETRY with Nan Ganyard & John Gabrielson Join Nan and John each week to read and discuss a variety of poems – happy, sad, charming, thought-provoking, traditional, modern and everything inbetween. Participants read and discuss the poems and, most important, experience the joy of poetry.

Born in Honduras, this remarkable journalist was the first Latin American correspondent at the White House, reporting for CNN for over 20 years. He has been honored by the National Press Club for 25 years of active membership. He still reports on air to several radio stations in the United States and overseas. He will give us the inside scoop on politicians and fellow correspondents during his Washington years from the Carter through the Bush Administrations.
SHORT STORIES with Bari Attis & Judith Yellen Edgar Allan Poe defined a short story as one that could be read in “one sitting.” Stories will reflect different time periods, countries, and viewpoints. All stories will either be accessible online or given to you. So, sit back, read and enjoy a short story and join Bari and Judith in a thoughtful discussion.
