Welcome toThe Village!

A PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING FOR THE FAST Our Father, we thank You for blessing us throughout our Church Family Fast. Thank You for blessing us with Your love, presence and anointing. Your unfailing love is better than life itself; we praise You! Gracious Father, we have tried to fast according to Your Word in Isaiah 58. We pray that our efforts have brought You glory, and we are expecting Your salvation to come like the dawn.

Holy Spirit, help us not to go back to old unhealthy eating habits. Help us to continue our discipline of being with You daily through prayer and the study of Your Word.

Merciful Father, forgive those who could have fasted but refused to participate. Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive.

Holy Spirit, help us all not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one. O Lord Most High, You are awesome. You are the great King of all the earth! Lord, Your strong arm is raised in triumph. Lord, Your strong right arm has done glorious things! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

In Leviticus 23:9-14 , the first crops of the barley harvest were offered to God as an offering of thanksgiving for the promise of an abundant harvest. In I Corinthians 15:23 , Jesus is considered the firstfruits of the harvest of all who have died in Him. For Christians, this feast is important because it celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ!

The Feast of Unleavened Bread begins the day after Passover and continues for seven days. The observance of the Feast of Unleavened Bread is a symbol of our commitment to turn toward righteousness and turn away from sin.

"WE ARE STRONGER TOGETHER!"

Dear Church Family,

Thanks to all of you who joined us for the Church Family Fast and Prayer last week. We hope you will continually reap the benefits of your spiritual “investment” in the days ahead. We pray blessings over your families this Passover weekend as we remember and rejoice over God’s historical, miraculous deliverance of His people. Let us also be mindful of and grateful that the Lord is still in the deliverance business, especially now. Amen?!

We “Gotta Keep Moving” because the Spring Feast celebration (and Kingdom Building) continue. Mark your calendars with the events listed below and be sure to go to www.kingdombuilders.com/calendar for many more activities offered to help you and yours better connect, grow, serve and share:

• The Feast of Unleavened Bread, begins sundown, Sunday, March 28, and ends sundown, Sunday, April 4. Seven (7) days of rededicating ourselves to God and giving in remembrance of His righteousness!

• The Feast of Firstfruits, begins sundown, Monday, March 29, and ends sundown, Tuesday, March 30. A special time with and a special offering in thanks to the Lord for His increase!

• Resurrection Weekend/Drive-In Worship, Saturday, April 3, at 6 PM and Sunday, April 4, at 5:30 AM, 8 AM & 10 AM at The KBC. We gather together to celebrate and worship!

• GriefShare Support Groups, start dates are Tuesday, April 6 and Thursday, April 8. Just as Jesus overcame death, we can overcome the sadness of grief and rejoice again!
