BEAVER COMPETITION RESULTS

2

The Beaver Computing Challenge, held annually by the University of Waterloo is written by thousands of students across Canada. It tests students’ Mathematical knowledge and its application in Computer Science. Our students took part in the competition and worked very rigorously for the test’s preparation. The test was held on November 10th. WIHS is proud of their efforts and the results. Almost a third of our students made it to the top twenty-five percent in all of Canada. The students were awarded certificates of distinction by the University of Waterloo and received gold, silver and bronze awards.

WIHS also hosted the Canadian Senior Math Contest (CSMC) and the Canadian Intermediate Math Contest (CIMC) from the University of Waterloo on November 22nd. WIHS wishes all the best for those that participated! Results have yet to be announced.
