SCHOLARSHIPS AND AWARDS
This booklet describes those community and school scholar-
ships and awards administered by William Tennent High
School and presented at the annual Senior Awards ceremony.
Some of the scholarships and awards are given through nomi-
nation and selection by a group or by an organization. Others
are given on the basis of an application process.
Part I of this booklet, which is “The Request for Applica-
tion,” is due January 28, 2014. When applications arrive, they
will be distributed to the students who requested them. Appli-
cations for scholarships based on financial need must be ac-
companied by a FAFSA, if stated in the application. Due dates
on these applications are final.
Part II of this scholarship booklet, which is “Request for
Consideration,” is due on April 4, 2014. The due date on this
part of the booklet is final. Additional information about
all of these scholarships and awards can be obtained from your
school counselor.
Part III of this scholarship booklet, which is “No Applica-
tion, No Nomination” are scholarships and awards made avail-
able to students, which are based on specific criteria which you
don’t have to apply for.
