The Recreation Center is offering a special rate for school class parties for the entire sea-son from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Mondays and Fridays and 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, (Satur-day and Sunday not included.) Cost is $3.00 per student. Cost includes skate rental. Call the Recreation Center at 373-RINK to sched-ule your party. Note: Skate sizes are limited. YOUTH BASKETBALL PROGRAMOur youth basketball leagues run from mid-November to mid February. Specific practice and game days/times are structured after leagues are formed. Please make note of the important information listed below.

YOUTH BASKETBALLREGISTRATION DATES:

The Olean Senior Center is located in theJohn J. Ash Community Building,

112 N. Barry St. and is open for seniors age 60+ in the City and Town of Olean.

The Senior Center offers a warm and inviting place for area seniors to come and enjoy a variety of activities, or to just watch TV, read and socialize. Along with exercise classes, weekly square dance and numerous activities, the center has a lending library of books and videos for the seniors to use. The Senior Center also offers a breakfast bar and the SWAN program provides daily lunch.

Many educational and informational forums are held each month and are generally open to the public as well as the AARP Driving Course and Tax Clinics.

The Junior League, offers younger seniors a chance to meet and enjoy fun activities. They meet the last Tuesday of each month and have dinners, picnics, activities, trips and Euchre Tournaments. New members are always welcomed.

OLEAN AREAYOUTH COURT

The Olean Area Youth Court is a highly successful delinquency

intervention/prevention program servicing first time offenders between the ages of 7 and 15 years old.

The Youth Court members are high school students from Olean, Allegany-Limestone, Portville and Hinsdale. Students are required to complete a structured training program and successfully pass a final law exam. They serve as the judge, side judge, facts attorney and law guardian.

Youth Court is in session 2 Monday evenings each month. For more information contact Paula Keenan, Coordinator at 376-5645.

The Bartlett House and Olean Point Museum are open for tours free of charge Wednesday thru Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. The Center is also available for private functions such as weddings, showers, birthday parties, etc.
