Why You Don’t Want to Lose Fat Fast The dream for everyone who is overweight or just has some extra pounds that they would like to get rid of, is to lose fat fast and permanently without working hard and then to go back to their comfortable lifestyle. But losing fat fast and losing fat permanently don't really go hand in hand, do they? Fast fat loss diets or fast weight loss diets? If there is a choice to make than everyone would like to lose fat permanently, rather than losing fat fast, then gaining it back again. But what exactly is fast fat loss? What is fast for some maybe slow for others. People who complain that fat loss is never fast enough, usually are the ones that never succeed to lose fat. Everyone has seen the show "The Biggest Loser," so naturally everyone wants to lose fat fast like the people on the show. But realistically it is impossible to achieve that type of fat loss. This is because they did not have to go to work, they have personal trainers by their sides, they have a big prize to aim at and on and on. But if you are a normal person, then you will not have all of these benefits. Did you see contestants on that show that use any diet pills or starvation diets? No, they did it they right way, because they know those type of methods don’t work out in the long run. Most people also confuse weight loss with fat loss. If a person has lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks, then he or she thinks that it is all fat. This is a big mistake because no one can predict what they have lost unless they get a body fat test. Most of the weight that people temporarily lose with low calorie diets consists of mainly muscle tissue and water, not fat. It is always better to take it slow rather than rush into some new diet and hit a weight loss plateau. Even if you are able to lose 1 pound of fat a week, then this will all add up. Losing one pound of fat per week means that in 6 months you will lose around 25-30 pounds. Yes, some people may lose more, and yes, some people may lose less. But you also have to consider that 95% of people can’t and won’t even lose that much fat in their lifetime. Anyway, let’s get to the good part.
