II If pumps are connected to a rainwater tank using

rigid UPVC, copper or galvanized pipe, noise from the pump and motor may transmit through the pipes into the house. To overcome this, it is Strongly Recommended to use a reinforced flexible pipe between the pump and the tank and even the building.

and the required noise and vibration isolation. A galvanized Steel or Stainless Steel Braiding over an

Pump/Tank packages- a 600mm Long hose in 1” size with internal anti-crushing spiral and a 90° Female elbow - Code 309.506 This enables rapid and sure connections within the tight confines that limit other connection methods.

The Standard Braided hose has great strength and is so easy and quick to install – However it does not provide full pressure ratings for suction use – there is a special variety with a stainless steel internal spiral / spring – the ‘anti-crushing hose’ that provides full pressure ratings in suction and delivery.
