Who We ArePROFESSIONAL THEATRE, COMMUNITY SPIRIT
Now entering its sixth successful season, Athens’ professional non-profit 501©3 theatre uses diverse production values, integrates Georgia musicians and high physicality, while producing classics, stories from our region and Pulitzer prize winners. Thousands attend annually, both public performances and school shows – all age groups from a dozen neighboring counties.
December 1st 2006, was Rose of Athens Theatre’s inaugural production and since then performances have taken place at Seney-Stovall Chapel, Ashford Manor, Morton Theatre, Oconee Civic Center, schools and arts centers.
We bring main-stage to main street.
The world is our oyster.
