In 1969, SIS Skandinavisk Industriservice A/S was

founded. Almost 50 years later, in 2016, Triton

acquired the majority of the shares from the previous

owner Voith. The company was renamed Veltec

in January 2017 and today has 180 employees

(primarily technicians, welders and fitters), a quality

system conforming to ISO 9001 requirements and

Achilles certification (22830).

Our services at a glanceVeltec is a strong partner for complex turnaround or

shutdown projects. We have extensive experience in

projects of varying sizes, including those that have

required up to 300 Veltec employees. We undertake

all the required project phases to ensure 100% service

completion on time and in accordance with QHSE (Qua-

lity, Health, Safety, Environment) standards.

Upon award of contract, the execution and planning

team refines the planning network. In consultation with

various interfaces from the client organization, the

logical sequence of activities and any changes in scope

that may arise once onsite are taken into account. Such

interfaces may include operations, technical services,

inspection, engineering, maintenance, projects, shut-

down planning, and HSE specialists.

Veltec is able to plan and carry out a broad range of

activities in accordance with agreed quality and time

schedules. Our key values are safety, quality and due

Piping and steel constructions

Veltec can deliver design, construction and installation

services at all levels. The expertise of our staff is

matched by the company’s approvals for welding and

installation of all materials used by industry, like car-

bon, alloyed, stainless steel, hastelloy, and duplex steel.

On-site machining

On-site machining using Veltec’s own mobile and mo-

dular machinery at larger plants saves time and money.

We are able to perform many operations on site, such

as milling, turning, grinding, cutting and drilling for

flanges, valves, and machinery foundations in a mobile

and flexible manner. Additionally, we have on-site bolt

tension and stretching equipment in a variety of sizes.

Veltec is a qualified and acknowledged partner in

the construction of new storage tanks as well as the

maintenance and reconstruction of existing storage

tanks made of steel.

Over decades, Veltec has constructed tanks for process

and energy industry customers, ranging in size from

175 m³ to 100,000 m³ and in type from tanks with

fixed or floating roofs to heated storage tanks. We have

also carried out the design, construction and inspection

of conventional and double-walled tanks and double

floating-roof tanks. Along with building new tanks as

an EPC contractor, we also carry out maintenance.

Our many reference projects show that our expertise

is comprehensive. Over the years we have built and

renovated tanks throughout Scandinavia, Greenland,

the United Kingdom and Eastern Europe.

Pump and valve services

Veltec has a dedicated workshop at its disposal to

repair and maintain pumps, valves, and related equip-

ment, including lathes for the turning of carrying

wheels, axles, etc.

We draw up schedules for lubricating pumps, grinding

stuffing boxes, and repairing and calibrating safety

valves, manometers and pressure/temperature trans-

mitters. Safety valves are calibrated up to 300 bar with

Danish Working Environment Authority approval and

returned with a test certificate.

We can also carry out vibration measurements on

motors, and total maintenance of rotating equipment,

including lubrication and oil change.

Veltec is highly capable in the supply and complex

installation of the highest-quality thermoplastic and

fiberglass pipes and structures.

We can design and supply piping solutions in several

materials, such as PVC, C-PVC, ABS, PP, PE, PVDF, FEP

and MFA. Fiberglass installations are made in epoxy

and vinyl ester depending on customer requirements.

We provide all kinds of welding services, including

socket welding, infrared welding, and extruder and hot

air welding. When using fiberglass, we are certified for

adhesive as well as lamination joints.
