Where's the Beef 2013 - Thanks for Supporting the Humane Society & Adoption Center
Citation preview
Each summer Rockport Center for the Arts hosts “ArtLink for Kids and Teens,” a free art camp for Aransas County children in grades 1-8. Local campers explore a different topic in visual arts each summer and create a variety of art projects during the two week program. The 2012 camp celebrated the program’s 15th season. This year’s calendar judges were campers from the July morning 4th and 5th grade class. This free summer program is funded by contributions from The Margaret Sue Rust Foundation, Coastal Bend Community Foundation, and Texas Commission on the Arts.
To All Our Friends of the Animals:
We thank you so much for purchasing our calendar and helping us bring awareness to the issue of pet over-population. We are seeing a reversal of this problem and your contribution helps us realize our goal. We thank you for adopting our animals and making each life a “good one”. A big THANK YOU to those who submitted photos of their pets.“Within the heart of every stray lies the singular desire to be loved.” God bless you and your hearts,
Kathy Noble, President

A special thanks goes to these sponsoring
families for contributing $150 to feed a snout
for a year. These cute furry friends
are living without a permanent home. Call the Humane Society and Adoption Center at (361) 205-0222, if you are looking to
sponsor or adopt a new friend and give them a
forever home.
Sarah lived to “escape and explore” despite fence fortifications and blindness in later
life. Her greatest adventure was escaping at Lake Corpus Christi. We were reunited one week later in the Dairy Queen parking lot in Bishop, TX! In this picture, Cato, a rescue cat, provides Sarah some special attention.

These two surfer girls, Stevie and Chloe, would rather be in the surf than on the turf. When Stevie and Chloe are not floating on the boogie board in the

"Olive" is named after the symbol of peace and victory, the olive branch, derived from customs of ancient Greece. Her name has

“Saving just one pet won’t change the world ...but surely the world will change for that one pet.” - unknown
About Us:The Humane Society & Adoption Center of Rockport-Fulton was organized in 1988 by a small group of very dedicated animal lovers with the intention of helping abandoned, homeless and helpless animals enjoy a better life. We started in a small store front and subsequently moved to our present location - 3.5 beautifully treed acres on Myrtle Street in Fulton. We have a unique shelter because the animals are free to run and play in their yards. We are a “no kill” facility and house approximately 75 dogs and 80 cats and kittens.
We are very pleased that our efforts with the aggressive spay/neuter program in conjunction with the county have reduced the euthanasia rate in Aransas County.
Mission Statement:The Humane Society & Adoption Center of Rockport-Fulton is dedicated to promoting humane treatment of companion animals by providing socialization, food, shelter and medical care in a comfortable setting until “forever” homes can be found for them. We are committed to an aggressive spay/neuter program to bring us closer to our goal of a “no kill” community and county where every adoptable animal is part of a loving, responsible home.
