The Isabella Welles Hunnewell Internship Program The Living Collections Fellowship Seasonal Appointments in Horticulture This unique opportunity develops the talents of rising plant care and public garden professionals through collaborative work with leaders in the field. Fellows spearhead significant initiatives in horticulture, curation, and/or plant production to complete a large-scale project during a two-year-long fellowship at the Arboretum. This 12- to 14-week summer program offers students and early career professionals valuable on-the-job experience, classes, and mentorship by Arboretum staff. Interns focus their work in horticulture, arboriculture, plant production, or curation, and participate in classes, field trips, individual assignments, and a team project. The Arboretum expands the breadth of its operations in horticulture, arboriculture, and plant production through a number of six-month seasonal positions. Hone skills and garner practical experience as an intergral part of a dynamic team.
