WAYNE DAVIS CONCRETE CO. was founded in 1971 by Wayne and Joyce Davis in the Tallapoosa, GA area. Today the company is still a family owned and operated business. We are proud to be the largest family owned and operated ready mix concrete producer in the West Georgia area.

Currently we operate fourteen plants, serving a fifteen county area, which includes west Georgia, parts of North Georgia, east Alabama and parts of the Metro Atlanta area.

We are equipped with an in-house quality control staff and testing lab. All of our concrete plants are computer batched.

Our fleets of ninety-five ready mix trucks are radio dispatched and equipped with GPS tracking systems and are always ready to deliver your concrete needs.

Wayne Davis Concrete’s Quality Assurance Department includes a la-

boratory manager and two field/lab technicians under the direction of

Wade Davis. Wayne Davis Concrete staffs a 1700+ square foot concrete

process laboratory. In our laboratory we strive for process control of the

production of a high quality product that meets our customers’ specifi-

cations and expectations. This process may include mix design verifica-

tion, including small batch production, set time testing, process testing

throughout all curing stages of the concrete (i.e. relative humidity), and

compressive strength testing at desired days, and modulus of rupture at

desired days. As well as aggregate testing and gradations, cement evalu-

ations and testing, and monitoring external test reports of our mixes using state of the art enterprise software.
