Cord Blood – Hematopoietic Stem Cells!• The collection of umbilical cord blood is a procedure extremely

simple and totally free of risk either for Mom or for the newborn.!• After delivery, the umbilical cord is usually discarded, despite

being a rich source of stem cells. During the past 20 years, blood transfusions have been performed from the umbilical cord blood with an excellent safety profile and clinical use proven.!

• Currently, stem cells from umbilical cord blood are being used for treatment of an increasingly wide range of diseases.!

• Seventy percent of patients who need stem cell transplant specialist in the formation of blood, do not find a matching donor within the family, so they have to resort to the public register of donors.!

Cord Tissue – Mesenchymal Stem Cells!• Such as the collection of cord blood, collecting the tissue

takes place through a simple and free of any risk not only to mum, but also for newborn. !

• While the cord blood may contain trace amounts of mesenchymal stem cells, it is difficult to isolate these cells. The efficiency of processing and isolating mesenchymal stem cells from umbilical cord tissue is 100%.!

• The vast majority of our customers choose to store the umbilical cord tissue for the baby together with the storage of umbilical cord blood, which brings many advantages, including the level of costs.!!

TeethCELLS – Mesenchymal Stem Cells!•Normally exfoliated (naturally fallen out) baby teeth, healthy wisdom teeth and permanent teeth extracted for orthodontic purposes all contain dental pulp. Dental pulp contains unique stem cells that have the ability to regenerate and develop into many different kinds of cells. !•These stem cells can potentially be used to replace diseased and damaged tissues in the body without rejection.!• There are over 500,000 extractions performed in the UK(e.g) every year. Baby teeth naturally fall out typically between 6-11 years old with a set of twenty teeth.!

LipoCELLS – Mesenchymal Stem Cells!•Thousands of liposuction procedures are performed every year, and in the vast majority of cases, the adipose tissue is simply discarded. The vast amounts of adipose tissue (depots of fat for storing energy) by sheer volume of availability ensure vast numbers of stem cells ranging in the millions per unit volume. !•lipoCELLS stem cells are extremely similar to stem cells isolated from bone marrow (BMSCs).!• The similarities in profile between the two types of stem cells range from morphology to growth to transcriptional and cell surface phenotypes. Their similarity extends also to their developmental behaviour both in vitro and in vivo. This has led to suggestions that adipose-derived stem cells are in fact a mesenchymal stem cell fraction present within adipose tissue.!
