What you need to know about Spain.

If you don’t like getting shots, then Spain is a great place to go because you don’t need any immunization shots!
Don’t eat from the street venders. The food may have an adverse affect on one’s stomach in the first or second day.
It’s very important to drink a lot of water during the summer because it’s extremely hot. Avoid ice because of bacteria.
There are not many unusual weather patterns but one is a periodic drought.
Spain usually never encounters any crime. For them, thievery is the most likely crime.
Spain as in the United States, is on a higher alert for terrorism.
POLITAL/SOCIAL UNREST
There is a small part of Spain called the Basque Country that wants independence of Spain.
Precautions to Stay Healthy and Safe
Keep all your valuables safe and locked up.
Drink plenty of bottled water.
Don’t eat from the street venders.
Don’t carry lots of money.
Learn about the safe areas of Spain.
Ice and water.
Bring clothes that are good for hot weather, such as shorts, t-shirts, sweat shirts, etc.
Bring bug spray
