Some will even force themselves through really extreme diets to help them lose weight for the roles that they play in the movies or on television. Some people have very serious problems, like eating disorders and drug habits. This isn't to say that you can't trust any celebrity, only that you shouldn't assume that just because someone is thin and has written a book that you can trust everything they say.
