Your ResponsibilitiesYou will be expected to take care of your clothes and shoes. Everything must be labelled. At some boarding schools you will wash, iron and fold your own clothes.

You will buy personal items like towels and toiletries. Everything should be labelled. You will be expected to replace them when they run out.

You will learn new routines. You will be responsible for getting up and getting ready for school on time. It is yourresponsibility to look afteryour body and your personal hygiene. You

Doing Secondary School!You will learn how to read and follow a timetable.

You will be doing different subjects and you may have different teachers. You will need to learn to work with each teacher and understand the rules for their subject.

You may have to learn how to safely use equipment for new subjects.

You may move around to different classrooms for lessons and you may have to use a map at first to find your way around the school.

You may be expected to use a homework diary to write down your homework each day. You will be expected to do all homework tasks.

You will be given assignments to work on in your own time. You will hand these assignments in by set dates and you will be graded on your work.

2 sets of pyjamas. If you board in a place where it gets cold you will need a set of winter pyjamas too.
