Meet the CHALLENGE!

Conduct field studies outside to learn how saving Puget Sound starts right here in our backyard! Join lab studies with microscopes & flow meters to take on-site data.

Try your own hand at cleaning up dirty water & a tour the Brightwater treatment plant to experience how systems can work for a more sustainable world.

Like all scientists we’ll get dirty, using state of the art STEM equipment, simulations and materials to make learning fun. Best of all by the end of the week you’ll share your own ideas for saving Puget Sound! We can’t wait to hear them!

Are you a 5th, 6th, or 7th grader who wants to actively support your local environment while having something fun to do this summer? Then come explore with us at the Ground to Sound Environmental Camp at Brightwater Center in Woodinville, WA!

This science based STEM camp uses a place-based experiential approach to learning. Campers will learn how to be stewards of the Sound through positive action for our local community.
