Kaleido is about people and celebrating their uniqueness. Just like looking inside a kaleidoscope, you will find a myriad of colors and likewise you will find the same endless potential in the human soul. We were created to stand out and each fulfill a unique purpose in this world. Society has been labeling uniqueness, "being different" with all kinds of names, putting us in comprehensible boxes and as long as we all fit in the world's idea of what those boxes should look like, we fit in and we are excepted. Unfortunately many people do NOT fit these boxes and never will. They are branded as failures, mentally ill or weaklings and the message is given over and over so many times that they are not enough or ever will be, that they start to believe it. What if?

What if we were made to be complex and different on purpose? What if the way we cope with life, is OK and the

way we respond to the world is more a message about the chaos in the world than about us?

What if, is a big question. What if we drop all the labels that this life put on us and we just believe again...believe in

the wonderful Creative Plan for each of us and follow that?? Are you a believer? Can you listen to that still small

Voice inside of you that says "Yes, it's true. I created you to be different, to stand out and to live out loud!"

Can we believe again? Can we believe that we are actually wonderfully and purposefully made to be who we are?

We always have a choice to believe the truth about us or to believe the lie.

Are you Highly Sensitive?

Do you know your temperament?

A very special, unique and oh so normal personality temperament 15 to 20% of the world's human population were created to be highly sensitive. It is no longer a curse word to confirm your sensitive nature but instead it is more and more embraced as the world come to

understand this trait better. This group of the population have unique creativity and empathy as their outstanding characteristics.

These characteristics were given as tools to interpret and express what we learn and read from the world around us.

So if it is normal and so wonderful a trait, why do we find it so hard?

This is a question all sensitive people ask at one point or another. The answer is simple. Our emotions are also one of

the main things that characterize our trait. It can be in overdrive as our neurology functions a bit differently than the

other 80% of the world's. So what do we do? We learn to manage it well.

Over time we form habits of communicating our feelings and these habits can become very toxic to us and the

people around us, if we do not understand what causes our responses and start fresh. This is not an easy process.

We need lots of grace for ourselves and others to learn how to manage our emotions well.

Emotional Intelligence is a buzzword these days, but also essential to this process and central to the Highly Sensitive

person's life. What is it? How to gain it and how to apply it in our daily lives, is a very important part of what Kaleido

is all about.

Kaleido principles and disclaimer

We also believe that God is the Creator of the unique creation that includes each individual. No one in this world is a

mistake. Everyone comes with a set of unique and individualized "instructions" and "tools" to live a well balanced

and abundant life. It is just a question of finding out what that is for each individual and it is possible to know.

We are all meant to succeed at the plan He wrote for each one of us and it is definitely not the same. The trick is to

open the "toolbox" and know yourself well. With knowledge comes wisdom and wisdom is knowing God. So, if we

search to know God as our Savior and Creator, He will guide us and teach us to know and love ourselves in a

balanced way. When we can love Him and ourselves well, we will be able to love the world as He intended.

So as you can deduct by now, Kaleido is a Christian and Biblical initiative and will always function within these

boundaries, but it is meant to touch the world at large. It has to be different. It has to stand out. As such, it will never

have any foundations in the New Age movement or have any occult based knowledge in it.

Although the Highly Sensitive personality type was identified and studied by a psychologist in the 1990's, named

Elaine Aron and many valuable things can be learned from her findings, Kaleido and all Kaleido products will not be

based on any psychological methods or have a psychological focus. Instead, we aim to base Kaleido on Biblical and

educational principles and knowledge at all times.

Kaleido will be Holy Spirit guided and therefore we invite you to scrutinize all our products and services under the

Kaleido label against these principles. Please let us know if you should read or find anything we do under the Kaleido

label to be contrary to Biblical and educational sound principles and we commit to immediately adjust our approach.

As education is a big part of our purpose and personal calling, we want to make sure that we influence people with

sound and healthy advice and guidance.

This is a big responsibility and we need to stay accountable.

What is Kaleido S.O.S?

An educational and coaching service to highly sensitive temperaments and people who may feel the need for a little extra support in life for whatever reason. What does Kaleido S.O.S include? Your counselor: Sessions will be conducted by Ansu Badenhorst, a highly skilled and qualified Educational Coach with 20 years’ experience in

Education in various levels in South Africa and overseas. She is a counselor at heart and a very intuitive and empathic HSP herself.

She combines Biblical, Educational and Creative Knowledge and Experience in her approach and with her own Highly Sensitive

nature, she will have the right skills-base to give support and guidance.
