CURRENT EVENTSTHANK YOU TO EVERYONE who helped in openingthe doors to the community during the annual MerryMeridian Parade! Once again, Central's hospitality wasappreciated by many. The red beans and rice, hotchocolate, popcorn and cookies kept a steady streamthrough our doors throughout the evening (not tomention the SEC game on the big screen!). To add toCentral's representation in our community, both our GirlScout Troop and Pack 2 Cub Scouts had a float in theparade. Congratulations Pack 2 for winning 1st Placein the non-commercial division!
CHRISTMAS LIGHTS AT THE MASON'SIn the spirit of the season, we invite you to go by andsee the beautiful Christmas lights, set to music, at thehome of Dr. Lawrence and Ginger Mason, located at2211 39 Street. The lights are turned on from 5:30 -th

Fall Scripture Award TripCongratulations to our Kindergarten - 5th Graders who completed theirScripture Memorization Chart and participated in last week's award trip toSanta's Christmas Factory at Soule' Steam Feed Works, followed by dinner atEl Norte. Thank you Jim McRae and Greg Hatcher for making this available toour students prior to opening to the public! As someone commented thatevening, only in Mississippi can a cubicle of "man-made snow" bring so muchjoy and excitement to a group of children! It was a joyous evening for both thechildren and the adults who watched the Christmas magic through the eyes ofa child!

CENTRAL’S CHRISTMAS T-SHIRTSThank you to all of you who picked up your t-shirts at the Advent Fair! If you did not pickup your t-shirt, you can come by the church office between 8:00 - 12:00 & 1:00 - 5:00p.m.[closed during lunch] or the shirts will be in the Crossing area for the next fewSundays. [Payment is due when you pick up your shirt]. The shirts look great so you don'twant to miss getting a shirt. Good News!! There are lots of extras! Call Kristina at thechurch and she can tell you the sizes available. Thank you all for participating andsupporting the Haiti mission team by purchasing a shirt! Wear you shirts as a way to tellpeople about our wonderful church!
