Mission: Westminster Christian Academy honors Jesus Christ by providing an excellent education, rooted in biblical truth, as interpreted by the West-minster Confession of Faith for the children of Christian parents. Community: Westminster Christian Academy enrolls 988 students in grades 7 through 12 during a two-semester calendar. It is located in suburban St. Louis County, Missouri, 20 minutes from downtown St. Louis. The school serves students from the St. Louis metropolitan area and western Illinois.

School: Founded in 1976 as an independent, coeducational Christian day school, Westminster provides a comprehensive college preparatory program that develops competence in Bible, English, fine arts, foreign language, history, mathematics, physical education, science, and practical arts. The school seeks to equip students for effective service and leadership by helping them to grow academically, socially, and spiritually.

Admission: The Admissions Committee evaluates each student on the basis of formal application, previous school records, recommendations, and a personal interview with parents and student. Faith in Action: Seniors are required to complete 50 hours of community service in order to graduate. These students serve in agencies of their choice throughout St. Louis City and County, including in hospitals, homes for the elderly, special schools, English language schools, urban rehabilitation projects, food pantries, and childcare. In addition to their work, they write three reflective papers on their personal philosophy of community service throughout the year.
