WELCOME To the first edition of What’s Happening at Wecon Systems “WHAWS” newsletter for the year 2016.

Unless you are a skier or snowmobiler, the “early” winter season has provided us with a break with no

substantial amount of snow. This allowed for uninterrupted travel during the Christmas season. Due to

year end commitments, several of our employees maintained a busy schedule throughout much of the

Christmas season. We thank them for their efforts. These efforts did not go unnoticed by our customers

who were able to minimize down time during this hectic time of the year. We hope you had a great

Christmas break and are ready to begin another successful year.

New business opportunities have grown and have continued to develop this past year. We will be re-

turning to a couple of larger projects that had wound down until the New Year. We welcome all of our

new business associates. To all of our customers and suppliers, thank you for supporting our require-

ments and allowing us to satisfy your material handling needs. If you have any questions, are interested

in any of our products or require a material handling solution please don’t hesitate to contact any of our

professional sales associates. Be sure to check our website on a regular basis to view our used options

and check the news & events tab to keep updated on what’s happening at Wecon Systems.

Our Annual Christmas Celebration

This year’s celebration took place at the Oliver

& Bonacini Café Grill in Oakville Place. They

provide an accommodating dining experience to

satisfy any appetite in a casual warm atmos-

phere. The ambiance is congenial and inviting,

providing patrons with surroundings that are

both charming and appealing. Due to the size of

our group it is a difficult chore for most estab-

lishments to accommodate us. We were seated

in a private room that allowed for an uninter-

rupted and private celebration. The serving staff was very accommodating to our large group. For our

pleasure they put together an assortment of various starter dishes for our enjoyment prior to bringing

out the main meals. Oliver & Bonacini put together a special menu for Wecon and provided an assort-

ment of food choices to satisfy all appetites. If you are looking for somewhere to hold your next corpo-

rate event, please give them a call.

On Going and Completed Projects

We recently supplied the equipment for a test cell for a global man-

ufacturer of household cleaning supplies and other consumer prod-

ucts. Several long hours were expended in-house during the imple-

mentation of this cell to accommodate the customer’s changing

needs and requirements.

The installation of the right angle lineshaft sorter supplied by our

business partner TGW Systems and the reconfiguring of the exist-

ing conveyor system at a computer distribution facility in Richmond Hill has been completed.

The mechanical installation of a conveyor system supplied by a third party continues at the new dis-

tribution center for a group of companies that represents a major Canadian retail business division

north of Toronto. Wecon will provide the implementation and installation services for the conveyor

equipment at these facilities.

We were recently awarded the installation activities con-

sisting of a cross belt sorter conveyor system at this same Ca-

nadian retail business facility. An extremely tight installation

window will be borne during the installation of this equip-

ment.

We just received a significant amount of used 24” nominal

width lineshaft conveyors and used 24” nominal width 1.9”

gravity roller conveyors on 4” centers to our used equipment

inventory. We continue to carry an extensive inventory of

used equipment available for sale at tremendous savings. This used equipment is refurbished provid-

ing the customer with a comparable product at significant cost savings over the purchase of new

equipment. Contact any of our sales professionals for details regarding availability of equipment

types and sizes.

Our sales staff and distributors remain busy quoting and continue to pursue new business opportunities.

They are always available to assist and answer any

customer inquiry. They can be reached at Wecon

Systems by calling (905) 624-6499 or alternately they
