ANNOUNCEMENTS

Please help! We need volunteers for the nursery and liturgists. Sign-up sheets in Fellowship Hall.

VBS is set for the week of June 17-21, 9 am–noon. Open for age 4 to those going into 8th grade. We’ll need teachers, helpers and a Craft Coordinator. If you would like to teach, help or register your child, please contact Christina Hartman at 231.818.1119.

Please keep Rev. Sandy Shaw and his wife in your prayers. He has advanced prostate cancer and will be receiving radiation therapy at Mayo Clinic every day starting the beginning of June through the middle of August. Cards and notes may be sent to Sandy at PO Box 258, Trout Lake, MI 49793 or via email at [email protected]

We need to raise $30,000 to maintain the beauty of this church. Pledge cards are in Fellowship Hall. Remember that for every dollar you give, it will be matched up to $20,000! Together we can do it!

Upcoming Brick Events:

Spaghetti Dinner – hosted by the Emmaus groups, Wednesday, May 15th, from 5 – 7 pm. Cost is $8 for individuals or $25 per family. Tickets available from an Emmaus member or in the church office. Tickets will be available at the door!! All proceeds will go to the Brick project.

Cans for Bricks!Collecting any deposit cans and bottles all of April and May to raise money for bricks. The container for cans and bottles is in Fellowship Hall. Contact Betty Kellogg with any questions 537-2767.

Crafts for Bricks – There is a craft table in Fellowship Hall. Anyone who would like to donate a craft they’ve made is welcome. Stop by and see what is being offered. All proceeds will go towards the brick project!

Happy Birthday and Happy Mother’s Day to Joan Pepper with love and gratitude from Andrea and Dawn. Altar flowers this morning are in honor of you!

Margaret Carman passed away Sunday, May 5th. She was 93. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 14 at 5:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church in Coldwater with Rev. Renee Whitaker officiating. Interment will follow at the church columbarium. Condolences may be sent to her son: David Carman 354 Fox Rd. Coldwater, MI 49036
