Welcome to Geography.
Dear student just a little background information to get you started on your A
level geography course.

The core textbook we recommend for the course is
OCR A level Geography – Michael Raw, David Barker, Helen Harris, Andy Palmer,
Peter Stiff. – ISBN – 978-1-4718-5870-3
As part of the A level course, students will need to complete a four day
experience of fieldwork, currently this is in Swanage and will take place
towards the end of November. Further details and costs will be issued in
your first Geography lesson.

Task – 1.Read page 140 – Explain the meaning of Globalisation, Demographic, Socio-

2.Complete the tasks in the activities box on page 140 and the stretch and challenge

Task 2 Coastal Landscapes
