Silent Auction ProceduresTh e highest bid for each item at the time the auction is closed constitutes

the winning bid. All tables close before the program: Red and Orange tables close at 8:30 p.m.; Yellow, Green and Blue tables close at 8:40 p.m.; and Purple, Pink and Gray tables close at 8:45 p.m.

Auction winners may collect their items aft er the program. Winners who are not present will be notifi ed by phone or e-mail the following week.

Rules & RegulationsAll sales are fi nal. No exchanges or refunds on any item are permitted.

Unless otherwise specifi ed, dates and times are to be arranged at the mutual convenience of the donor and the buyer.

All auction items must be paid for in full by cash, check or charge (VISA, MasterCard or American Express). Make checks payable to SCAN of Northern Virginia.

Catalog descriptions of items include the item’s estimated value. Th ese are estimates only and are intended to assist auction guests in placing bids. Estimates are not warranted by SCAN of Northern Virginia and may not always represent the market value for tax purposes.

When the item is not on display, the buyer may receive a gift certifi cate. Unless otherwise noted, auction items must be used within one year from the date of this auction.

GR08 A Voice for a Vulnerable Child A gift of $1,700 could provide advocacy services for an abused child from a trained & supervised CASA volunteer who gives voice to that child’s individual needs and priorities throughout their case.
