On the first weekend of Winter Term 2014, 51 members of our PHE/KIN crew ventured up to Mont Sainte Anne for some awesome skiing and snowboarding. The majority of participants took advantage of the slopes Saturday, although the weather was very wet and cool.

Sadly, the second night of skiing was cancelled due to the weather, but we were compensated by the excellent weather to follow on Sunday. The sun was beaming and it was overall a perfect day for skiing and snowboarding.

students were busy with the last push to finish

assignments and prepare for in-class tests.

The HLTH DSC held a fundraiser “David’s Tea by donation” on the last Monday of

classes for Winter Term 2014.

Spring at the SKHS is always busy as professors finish their marking and submit final grades. The UG Office gears up to finalize the official degree lists and Winter Term 2014 officially comes to a close. Although it may appear quieter in the building, professors are busy attending conferences, presenting papers, doing research in their labs or travelling to catch up with research projects – some as far away as South Africa in Dr. Fergus’ case! The Undergraduate Office is busier than ever doing all the background work for Registration 2014-15 including HLTH program approvals, assigning 400-level option courses to fourth-year students, timetabling, preloading courses and so on!!!
