In Portland, the law states that any establishmentserving alcohol must offer at least three food items. This is good news for many reasons, but it has created a culture where bars must step up their food game to please our foodie residents, resulting in many high quality menus, even late at night.

Recreational Cannabis is legal in the state ofOregon. Consumption laws are similar to that ofalcohol: don’t use out in public on the street, in public buildings, or in public transportation. Dispensaries are everywhere and shouldn’t bedifficult to locate—look for the green cross. All you need is government ID that shows you are at least 21 years of age and cash.

3345 se division st | ok, yes it is a tourist trap, but it is really delicious. Tip: You can skip the line if you are buying a pint from the freezer.
2500 se clinton st | Big bowls of mussels, broth, and fries. Choose from a variety of flavors and ingre-dients. Great for groups and sharing.

Portland is a very casual city, so you won’t find that many fine-dining establishments and certainly not with a dress code. But doesn’t it feel good to dress up anyway?
