The Prep report provides…
•An overall picture of your child's learning and development from evidence gathered during everyday activities
•A focus for communication about your child's learning and development
•Identification of strengths and weaknesses to support planning that meets individual needs
•Information to support your child’s smooth transition from the Preparatory Year to Year 1

The reporting process in Prep will…Consist of two components:
Written component •Mandated for all Australian Schools by the end of 2012
•Comments on children's learning in relation to the curriculum
•Overall achievement for AC Maths, English & Science:•Becoming Aware, Exploring, Working With, Making Connections, Applying.
Interview opportunity•Prep reports will be issued Wednesday, 13/6 2012
•Interviews will be offered after school on Monday 18/6 & Tues 19/6 (Week 10)
