Getting ready for Fall…• Recognizing letters and knowing letter names and

sounds

• Writing their name (only the first letter capitalized)

• Practice left to right, turning pages

• “Read” street signs, labels, cereal boxes, etc.

• Count everything

• Practice self-help skills (tie, snap, button, zip)

• Fine motor skills (cutting, gluing, coloring, pencil grip)
