IBM Missionary Welcome

The Mission Involvement Committee is happy today to welcome IBM missionaries

Larry and Lisa Hall and their children, Evan, Micah, and Jadon, to their first service

with First Baptist Church, Guntersville. The Halls will be spending their summer

furlough in our community and will be involved in church activities during their

stay. Along with Catricia Seward in whose home they will be residing, the Missions

Committee invites you to extend to the Halls a warm welcome. The congregation is

cordially invited to a Welcome Brunch on Sunday, June 23, where you will have the

opportunity to meet the Halls and share welcome gifts in the way of a Money

Tree. The Halls will be leading in mission related activities throughout the summer,

as well as preaching in various churches in the region.

June 10th—14th: Centri-Kid Camp, 3rd—5th Grades.

June 23rd: Missionary brunch in fellowship hall. GAs/RAs please wear vests and plan to serve during Sunday School hour.

June 24th: Family Night at The Splash Pad at Scottsboro Recreation Center, 6—8pm.

June 30th—July 3rd: VBS for ages 3yrs—5th Grade. 5:30 –8:30pm.

July 31st: Back to school pool party at Gunter’s Landing. 4—6pm.

August 4th: FBC Family Prayer Walk. Meet at FBC at 2pm.

Senior Adults

Senior Adult VBS is planned for Monday to Wednesday, July 1-3, 9:00 AM until Noon. To properly plan, we need an approximate number of those who might be interested in attending. Sign-up sheets are in your classrooms today and on the table opposite the office. We had a good response to the Celebrators sign-up. There are several spaces left and we would love to have you “get on board”.
