LOGGING INTO CANVAS

Navigate to URL: https://olympic.instructure.com You can also find a link to Canvas on the OC Web Page under Current

Students or on the eLearning page under Related Links.

User ID: Your Student ID Number (860NNNNNN)

Initial Password: First SIX letters of your last name, all lower case

Less than six? Then add letters by starting at the beginning again: Cox = coxcox

Hall = hallha

Smith = smiths

Washington = washin

If you cannot log in: Did you enter your student ID number correctly? Did you enter your password correctly (CAPS Lock off, first six letters of your last

name)?

If this is your first time logging in and you cannot get in, click on the “Don’t know your password?” link just below the “Stay signed in?” check box. A password reset link will be sent to your Student.olympic.edu email address.

If you were able to log in before, try logging in from a different computer. If that works, then the browser cache on the first computer needs to be cleared. Instructions for this are contained on the eLearning website or by accessing your browser help function. If that does not work, use the “Don’t know your password?” link to reset your password.

drop-down menu or from the OC eLearning page, under Related Links. It would

also be a good idea to add this page to your browser bookmarks.

You will reach a screen that looks like this:

Enter you student ID number in the box labeled OC Login

Enter your password in the password box.

If you forget, there is a note box directly below the log in box that will

help to remind you what your user ID and password are.
