Progress Reports and Grading
Standards-based report cardso 4: Exceedingo 3: Proficiento 2: Approachingo 1: Beginning
Parent conferences to discuss your child’s progress are the week of November 16-20.. There is no school on the 16th and the remaining days that week are modified for conferences.
Grading in first grade is based on common assessments, district assessments performance based assessments, and in-class observations
Homework
Sent home Monday with a reading log and math menu
Homework is due on Friday District homework policy – 10-15
minutes per day, 4 days per week Homework will begin the 4th week of
school (September 21)
