Welcome in our house Garfield! Well... the time has almost come! You will have an amazing outlook: having a great time in the forest park, just a stone's throw away from heathland, forest, Hanseatic cities like Hattem, Kampen, Elburg, Zwolle and Harderwijk and the Veluwemeer. Take your time and read it carefully.J Bed linen and towels Bed linen, towels duvets and pillows are present and all inclusive. We have a bean coffee machine available. Holiday starts at homeJ Shops There are no stores in the immediate vicinity. Take the basic needs with you from home or go to the supermarket located in 't Harde or Nunspeet. Arrival: from 3 p.m. There will be a keybox hanging next to the main door at the Veranda of the house. The code can be requested by sending a whatsapp message to +31633306111. Directions to house Garfield Upon arrival at the chalet park (Verlengde Haerderweg 5), you will arrive at a small parking lot with about 15 parking places to your left. DON'T drive towards the automatically operated main barrier, but FIRST park the car in one of the parking places on the left side. Walking route on the park: LAST PAGE To our house Garfield (M17): To your left, inbetween the parking places, another barrier (non-automatical) can be found. Walk past this barrier and make sure you stay on the left side of the second chalet (brown wood + veranda). The keys to the house and the key for the main barrier will be in the keybox. When you have the keys, you can go get the car. Drive to the barrier and hold the key in front of the green pole next to the barrier. The barrier will open and allows you to drive past the reception. Enter the first path on your left (past the swimming pool) and then take the second path left (because of the one-way streets in the park). When the road makes a sharp turn left, you will face the brown chalet. Park the car underneath the lamp post. Your vacation has begun.

Wi-Fi Veluwe-huis Password: Garfield Thermostat The thermostat hangs on the wall in the living room, next to the French doors. We would kindly ask to lower the heating at night and in the absence. The energy costs at the park are very high :-). Thank you so muchJ Soundbar The Toshiba soundbar can be connected to every smartphone:

• Switch on the soundbar and make sure that bluetooth on your smartphone is enabled.

• Press the bluetooth button on the small black remote control of the soundbar. The soundbar should make the 'pairing' signal and will be connected to the smartphone.

• From now on, it is possible to listen to your own music from your smartphone.

N.B.: on the soundbar, an input button can be pressed, which will show the sound on the smart-tv, usb, smartphone and others. If you are unable to connect your device, another source might be the solution. TV & Netflix If you like to watch TV, first assure yourself the ‘Arrix’ modem is ‘on (button is green). Then put the TV on with the Toshiba controller and check the source is HDMI2 (not TV!). Then you can scroll TV channels. With the smart TV you can watch Netflix as well. You can choose our subscription, and choose “Garfield” as user. Smoking Smoking inside the cottage is not allowed, but an ashtray can be found next to the barbecue. Power The usage of gas, water and electricity is included, however, we request you to use it frugally by, for example, lowering the thermostat of the central heating when you are not there.

Furniture Moving furniture and hardware from inside to outside or the other way around is not allowed, as well as walking and/or jumping on the beds or other furniture. Safety Think about closing the doors and windows everytime you are leaving. Trampoline

Trampolines are for fun and this one is not too big and really nice. But be carefull: use of the trampoline is at your own risk. We cannot be held responsible for consequences. If you have young children: watch them playing.

Pets Only allowed in agreement and preferably in a bench. If dogs will jump on the couch, you are meant to bring a clean blanket for protection of the couch. It depends on the race whether dogs will be allowed or not. Also, never leave your dog alone in an unknown environment. Pets need to be on a leash inside the park. On the terrace and in the garden of the cottages, pets are allowed to walk around freely. Faeces of pets are expected to be removed properly. If you leave the park through the rear exit (from the barrier seen on the other side of the park) into the forest and stick to the right, you will end up in sand dunes; here it is allowed for dogs to walk around without being on a leash. Barbecue We have a barbecue for you available. The parkmanagement is not happy with our barbecue because of due to the possibility of a fire hazard danger and the smell at houses of neighbors. We consider it as a service and would ask you to keep the fire small and clean the barbecue very good immediately after use, so other guests appreciate your involvement.

Garbage Garbage bags must be closed and put in the blue container at the parking place next to the house. Garbage will be collected once or twice a week, depending the season. If you do not close the bags or garbage is outside the bags, the park management does not collect the bags. Bottles can be put in the shed for sorted waste. Before departure: • Do the dishes and put it all back in the kitchen cabinets. • Please remove bed linen from the beds and put them in the bathroom. • Empty the garbage bins and put the full garbage bags closed in the green

container at the parking place (the container is being used for all sorts of garbage)

• Make sure to clean the living room and hallway before leaving • If you have leftovers, you can leave it in the refrigerator/freezer • Please report any cases of broken things, damage, or lost property. • Put the thermostat back to 6 degrees Celsius • Before departure, check the cottage thoroughly one more time for forgotten

chargers and suchlike • Please put the keys in the keybox at the front door; put the code on

We will keep forgotten personal property for a decent amount of time, but we will not take responsibility for them. It is possible to send them after you for additional costs.

We expect you to use the cottage properly, which allows further guests to enjoy using it as well.
