In your lectures, try to get your students engaged. CS example returns.

Always repeat the Cotton Picking Question – every time I mentor an instructor, people in the front of the class ask questions and I am in the back and I have absolutely no clue as to the question and when the instructor answers it, I am clueless, reaching for my newspaper to do the daily crossword puzzle. I get bored and a little upset because I feel I am not part of the class.
