Whether you are a resident or a visitor to Music City, we are pleased that you are considering or already using our transit system. Our city’s population is increasing and the services of the Nashville MTA are as well. With more than 40 bus routes, we have a transit system that is connected to all major corridors and many businesses and tourist attractions. And, demand for transit has never been higher. MTA offers local, express and cross-town service on neighborhood and corridor routes, including express service to the airport. Four MTA routes operate as BRT lite, which is designed to make bus travel quicker and more convenient with more frequent service and fewer stops. Currently, BRT lite is offered on four of our busiest corridors – Gallatin Pike, Murfreesboro Pike, Charlotte Pike, and Nolensville Pike. Our FREE downtown circulator called the Music City Circuit is a great way to get around downtown Nashville, the Gulch and other area attractions and businesses. Service also extends north down historic Jefferson Street, passing Fisk University, home to the premier Jubilee Singers, Meharry Medical College, and on to the Tennessee State University campus. On behalf of the MTA board and staff, I hope you will continue to rely on our services to get you to your destinations in Music City. Gail Carr Williams MTA Board Chair

Metropolitan Transit Authority 430 Myatt Drive, Nashville, TN 37115 ADA Coordinator and Customer Care: 615-862-5950 nashvillemta.org

Travel TrainingTravel Training is a service that teaches people with and without disabilities how to ride Nashville MTA buses. Trainers work one-on-one with customers to give them the practice they need to feel confident riding MTA buses. Group orientations, including trips on buses to destinations on our many bus routes, also are available.

There is no charge for travel training; however, individuals must pay the standard bus fare. Seniors age 65 and older, people with disabilities, Medicare cardholders and youth age 19 and younger are eligible for a discounted fare.

For more information, call 615-880-3597 or visit our website at nashvillemta.org.

RIDE FREE!

AccessRideMTA’s paratransit service operates a fleet of special vans for people with disabilities who are unable to ride the large fixed-route buses.

• This door-to-door service is provided within Davidson County.

• To request an eligibility application, call AccessRide at 615-880-3970 or download a copy from the MTA website at nashvillemta.org.

Welcome aboard!
