Bridgestone Appoints Zantrak International as its First SoleDistributor in Iraq

First-ever Iraq distributor will support Bridgestone’s expansion plans and furtherboost its sales

Dubai, January 9, 2014 – Bridgestone Middle East & Africa East FZE (BSMEA), a subsidiary of BridgestoneCorporation, announced today that it has appointed Zantrak International s.a.l. as its first sole distributor in theRepublic of Iraq. Under this agreement, Zantrak International will exclusively distribute Bridgestone brand tires andtubes in Iraq for trucks and buses, light trucks and passenger cars as well as for industrial, motorcycle and agriculturaluse.

The new distributorship will further strengthen BSMEA’s business in Iraq, an identified growth market for thecompany, by increasing its ability to offer high quality products and services to the country.
