They do! Grades throughout Year 12 will beconsidered when deciding on progression into Year 13, and will be used for UCAS predicted grades.

ResponsibilityAppointments, driving lessons etc should not take place during lesson time. Study periods can be used for this, however.
Students with part-time jobs should not accept shifts or training during the school day.

No! If staff are absent, lessons will not be covered by another member of staff but work will be set for students to complete.
AttendanceHolidaysEven a one-week holiday can have a significant, negative impact on a student’s progress.
If lessons are missed for any reason, it is the student’s responsibility to catch up on missed work.
TargetsStudents are assigned a target grade using ALPS (Advanced Level Performance System).
These grades may be slightly lower than equivalent performance at GCSE.
