gPs

activate the gPs for mobitee from the phone settings > Privacy > location services.

enabling 3g can provide faster positioning but not in any way replace the accuracy of the gPs.

accelerate the gPs signal from the application settings, kee-ping it on even in standby.

note that the iPod does not have onboard gPs. we recom-mend that you equip yourself with a compatible external gPs available in the apple stores.

internet connection

it is recommended to use a good internet connection, fast and stable in order to:

- synchronize data.- load golf courses lists.- load satellite images.- save games.

note that a party may proceed without internet if the course was previously loaded. However, at the end of the game a connection will be necessary to save the round.

You will play abroad? load your courses BeFore going.sync your played games played at your return or use a wireless Point to avoid a possible additional cost.

BatterY

if you do not get to enjoy mobitee until the 18th hole, it is strongly advised to follow these recommendations:

start with a battery to 100%.Put the iPhone in standby between each shot.

Phone settings:

- disconnect 3g and wiFi.- disable notifications.- disconnect the Bluetooth.

application settings:

- disable the active gPs even in standby.

remember to turn on the phone options after your game!

enable sharing your scores from settings and set-up screens of the application.

if you are not already logged into Facebook, you will be asked to do so. Your mobitee account will be linked to your Facebook account, so you can connect to the service with your mobitee or Facebook username.

note that if you just want to check the aerial views of a course, it is recommended to disable the sharing option.

scores sHaring

Your arrival on a course you can chose to publish Birdies, eagles and Hole-in-one(s) at the end of the game, a link to your scorecard will also be displayed.

if you have a technical problem with the application, return to the iPhone home page and double-click the center button, then press and hold the icon mobitee to stop working.

if that does not work, you can perform a synchronization of your data BeFore remove / reinstall mobitee free from the appstore.

You can see your games from any other terminal of iPhone, iPad or iPod.For that, each device must have mobitee and you must be connected with the same mobitee account.

transFer

if you have data on another device (android, wphone), you can transfer to your iPhone by connecting with your mobitee identifiers used on the old phone.

in another hand, you can transfer your data to another phone after the data is synchronized with your iPhone.

with the free version, you can try our application, and all its features, on the first 5 holes of each course worldwide. the Full version is a onetime fee (around 25 $) for unlimited use of all courses in the world (+35,000)

By default, the handicap system is accorded to the selected country. it is essential to get the right net scores.

stableford default Par is 2 points, it can be increased to 3 points depending on the country and rules in force.

You can choose to automatically display the score card by turning the phone on its side.

You are free to give value to the cross. For stableford, it will be 0 point. this option does not distort the stroke play count.

a course is automatically added to the list of favorite courses if you visit its «mobitee» clubhouse screen. You can remove it from the favorites by sliding your finger from right to left on its name in the list or from the clubhouse screen. update the list regularly to get the most recent version of each course.

always based on the number of players and game type selected, you may need to choose between several possible combinations, especially for team games.

You can play against a team and play as a team (for a team competition, for example).

do not hesitate to request an extra game type you would like to see in your application.

wagers

Bet with your playing partners on the scores. give a value to the scores of your choice. mobitee will calculate and propose, from the scorecard, what you win or lose!

FaceBook sHaring

enable Facebook sharing to publish your scores and your final score card on your wall.

the white line indicates the remaining distance to the green. go to the settings of the application to select the front, middle or back of the green.

click on the image to show the target and get a second distance, ideal to establish a strategy. move the target by clicking elsewhere or by dragging over the image.

the white dot you see in the tee area is not the white tees. it remains white until you are located out of the hole.

However, you can reposition it by pressing one second and dragging on the image.

this point is colored according to the quality of gPs reception. so it displays your location in real time on the hole.

Your best tee shot ever on this hole

over the tee area, remember to click once on the red button, it will start the measurement. Before hitting the 2nd shot, click the button again to stop the measurement of the first shot and start measuring the next one. You will be asked to save this and the club played.

if you have forgotten the beginning, click the button at the fall of your drive, the default departure will be taken into account to measure the first shot.

a yellow star appears for the best tee shot on this hole. click on the star to know the details.

note that the shot tracking only works if you are on the hole.

You can track short approachs but as the gPs accuracy is not that good for tight length, and as the shot tracking is not used to count strokes, we advise to only use shot tracking for long shots

in case Par and 2 putts were made on this hole, just click in the middle of the «roller». the Par will be automatically assi-gned to other players.

You can enter your score with the expert mode, which will generate a large amount of statistics for you and other players.

a/s indicates that two teams or two players in match play are all square. uP indicates the player or leader and the number of strokes.

exPert mode

indicate each shot by clicking on the lie where the ball was standing.

the list of shots is displayed on the left. click the x to delete a shot.

this mode allows you to generate a large number of additional statistics.

if you want to stop the game and the score is incomplete, you can return to the score card and enter the missing scores. You can pause the game to return to the mobitee home screen. then, click on «Play golf» to resume. You can complete the game without entering all scores but it is not recommended. it may compromise the accuracy of the game statistics.

display the blue button to:

- save the game in the phone and on the server.- send scores to your playing partners.- send scores to other contacts.- update your handicap depending on the game played.

if an e-mail address is missing, you will be asked. (remember to update your contact details in order to avoid this step)

the e-mail sent will show the score card based on the game type you have chosen before the game.

update your Handicap for the next rounds.

note that you cannot send your scores or update your handi-cap without saving the game.
