Position Description
People Incorporated is looking for a Partnership Development VISTA to help carry out its mission “to
provide opportunities for economically disadvantaged people to reach their goals in order to enhance
their lives, their families, and their communities.” People Incorporated is one of Virginia’s largest and
most successful Community Action Agencies, operating nearly 30 programs in 16 counties and cities in
the state with the goal of moving families out of poverty. Over the past year, People Incorporated has
been working to integrate services across the agency and the community so that each client is served
holistically.
The VISTA will help People Incorporated grow partnerships with other service providers with the goal of
implementing a robust external referral system. The VISTA will work closely with People Incorporated
staff to develop external referral data capabilities in our agency-wide client tracking system. The VISTA
will help enhance this integration by working to develop an external referral system for the agency and
strengthen existing relationships. The VISTA will focus on networking with local organizations, building
new partnerships and growing existing relationships, and promoting People Incorporated as a whole.
The project also includes using People Incorporated’s client tracking system, EmpowOR, to build out the
external referral capabilities.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about improving their community, comfortable with speaking
with other organizations on behalf of People Incorporated, and interested in working in a nonprofit
environment. This position requires strong communication skills, teamwork, research, and time
management skills. This position has a flexible start date and the VISTA could work at either our
Manassas or Abingdon, VA offices.

As a member of the Nexstar Digital Sales Team, the Integrated Digital Specialist is
responsible for generating and growing digital marketing service revenue for the company.
The IDS will be the market's subject matter expert on digital services and will work, both
independently and in conjunction with the WJHL-TV Sales team, to achieve budgeted
revenue goals in the digital marketing services area. The Integrated Digital Specialist will
achieve this by professionally and effectively selling Nexstar's digital products and
inventories (including but not limited to targeted video, digital audience and reach
extensions, SEO/SEM, and sponsorships) with the intent to advance client objectives.
