Your Responsibilities
Serve as a direct point of contact for individuals registering for federal assistance and seeking
relief program referrals through multimodality applications, e.g. phone, live chat, email, and
social media.
Conduct an interview and/or inquiry with patience, tact, and courtesy to determine needs, and
provide instructions and/or referrals.
Enter information into FEMA’s Windows-based computer database as required, while following
instructions and conducting a scripted interview.
Provide phone number and agency referrals as necessary for applicable secondary support
organizations and other assistance.
Perform additional duties assigned based on FEMA’s level of support to the event. Examples
include, but are not limited to: Helpline (HL), Rental Resources, Transitional Sheltering
Assistance (TSA), Pre-Placement Interviews (PPI), Indexing, National Emergency Family Registry
Locator System (NEFRLS) database, and tracking donation offers from the public.
Complete all data entry while the individual seeking assistance or information is actively
communicating.
Attend all scheduled shift meetings to receive event specific information prior to beginning shift.
All work; e.g. data entry, shall be done while the disaster survivor is on the phone. No work; e.g.
case work, shall be done after the caller hangs up.
What We’re Looking for
Display excellent communication and customer service skills and exhibit a high level of
professionalism in all communications Read, write, and speak English fluently.
Have knowledge and experience with personal computers in a Microsoft Windows-based
environment.
Ability to type 25 wpm
High School Graduate or GED
Availability to work a full time shift between the hours of 6am and 10pm CST, and work at least
1 weekend day.
Be United States Citizens 18 years of age or older.

Job Description Safely plan, layout, install, and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus and control

Plan new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future

specifications and codes.
Prepare sketches showing location of wiring and equipment, or follow diagrams or blueprints,
ensuring that concealed wire is installed before installation of future walls, ceilings and floors.
Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit, using tools, such as
hacksaws, porta-bands, pipe threaders and pipe benders.
Pull wire through conduit, assisted by Electrician Helper(s).
Splice wires by stripping insulation from terminal leads, using wire strippers, twisting or
otherwise splicing wires together and applying tape or terminal caps.
Connect wiring to power equipment, using hand tools.
Install control and distribution apparatus, such as switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels,
fastening in place with screws or bolts, using hand tools and power tools.
Connect power cables to equipment, such as motor, and install grounding leads.
Test continuity of circuits to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components, using test
instruments, such as ohmmeter, megger and oscilloscope.
Observe functioning of installed equipment or system to detect hazards and needs for
adjustments, relocation, or replacement.
May cut or weld steel structural members, using flame-cutting and welding equipment.

Tool and Die Maker Apprentice
Description:
A state-of-the art forging operation in NE Tennessee, has an immediate need for the following position
in its Tool Shop.
Tool and Die Maker Apprentice
Requirements: This is a four year / 8000 hour program. This position uses manual and CNC equipment to make forge
die tooling. You will operate the latest in CNC equipment such as lathes, vertical milling centers,
horizontal milling centers, high speed milling machines, and (EDM) electrical discharge machines. You
will use saws, grinders, drill presses, forklifts, overhead cranes, computers, hand tools and measuring
tools.
A 2-year associate’s degree in Machine Tool Technology is required. Tool making experience in forging,
casting or stamping fields is preferred. At the completion of the apprenticeship journeyman status is
credited through the Department of Labor.

General Summary:
Under general supervision, responsible for assisting technicians with determining the correct part
number(s), locating parts, receiving parts into inventory, distributing parts to customers (both internal
and external), proper documentation of all transactions, returning incorrect/defective parts to vendors,
inventory control and maintenance, OSHA/EPA compliance, and exceptional customer service.

Bharat Forge PMT Technologie, a state-of-the art forging operation in NE Tennessee, has an immediate
need for the following position in its Maintenance Department.
Industrial Electronics Technician: This position includes troubleshooting PLC controlled presses and CNC
machine centers, data highway, SCR power controls, 3-phase motors and controllers, conveyor systems,
induction heaters and hydraulic/pneumatic systems in a heavy industrial environment. An Associate
Degree in Electronics or equivalent training is a minimum requirement. Experience with Allen Bradley
500 Series and RS Logic software preferred.
TOOL & DIE MAKER: Individuals in this position will work with the latest in CNC equipment to
manufacture and maintain forge die tooling. This position requires hands-on experience in the
programming, set-up and operation of this equipment. Certification in the tool-making field is preferred.
TOOL & DIE APPRENTICESHIP and CO-OP PROGRAMS: Available upon request.
FORGE DIE SERVICE TECH: Individuals in this position will work on die repair and set up tooling. Good
mechanical skills are needed. This position requires post high school course work in blueprint reading,
trigonometry, measuring tools, and quality inspection in the machine tool trade.
