    Week 22: Home Project

    Task:

Using a menu from one restaurant, plan lunch (food and drink) for your class! Once you have put

together your order, work out the cost of the food, what you would have to pay in tax ( assume a 4% tax

rate), and how much of a tip you would give the delivery guy.

Would giving a $10 tip be more or less than basing the tip on a percentage of the cost of the order? How

much would a 15% tip be? What about 20%? Show work and explain!

After figuring out all of the above, you realize you have 17% discount coupon? How would using this

affect the amount of tax you pay and the amount of tip you give? Explain all of your work!

You will be graded, using the following rubric.
