We know you want your special day to be perfect. At Hotel Savoy you are spoilt for choice with our large selection of venues to host your special day. We offer affordable wedding packages to suit any budget, and our flexible spaces and exceptional service will provide you with the unique and special wedding you deserve.

Our hotel boasts a newly renovated restaurant function area including an informal outside Boma and splash pool area perfect for a lunchtime wedding.

We have four spectacular venues to host your reception up to a maximum of 400 guests. We cater to every size and budget. Our well-maintained, private gardens are perfect for spectacular photographs and the hotel offers mouth watering cuisine and modern accommodation for you and your guests to enjoy.

Allow our highly experienced team to execute your special day in style and ensure that your dream wedding becomes a reality.

The maximum number of guests we can comfortably accommodate in the largest of our venues is 400.

As a gift, the bridal couple will receive their wedding night in the four star Executive Suite on a bed and breakfast basis with compliments of the hotel.

Reduced rates are also on offer to family and friends staying on after the wedding.

WHAT’S ON OFFER ATHOTEL SAVOY & CONFERENCE CENTRE

Our hotel offers a fully-catered service including all meals and drinks.

Choose one of our elegant function rooms with soft lighting and full air-conditioning. Alternatively, should you wish to have a smaller, more intimate wedding, the size of our large function room can be adjusted to suite your requirements.

There is ample space in each of our four venues for a dance floor, DJ, band or other entertainment.

RECEPTION SITES

Our fully licensed bar offers all liquors, wines and champagne. You may run either a cash bar or bar tab which will be updated by the wedding co-ordinator on the tab’s progress. Once the limit has been reached, you have the option to continue or change to a cash bar. Welcome drinks can also be arranged, at an additional cost, for your guests to enjoy while you are having your photographs taken.

Pre-wedding drinks can also be served at our Boma. Hours are strictly from 12:00 midday to 18:00.

BAR SERVICE

A varied choice of romantic settings is on offer in Mthatha, including beautiful churches. Our team will ensure that you find the right setting for your needs.

WEDDING CEREMONY SETTINGS

You are welcome, if available, to start decorating your chosen venue the night before the wedding to help ease the pressure of your big day.

We can guard your precious bouquets and help to keep them fresh before your big day. Kindly notify us so we can make the necessary arrangements to accommodate your flowers.
