Third Grade Gazette
Parents,As we continue with learning the content in all subjects, please review the materials that were previously covered during previous weeks. When study guides are provided, please review them with your child and ask him/her questions to make sure he/she understands.
Tips for Success
All students are expected to have mastered addition and subtraction basic facts coming into 3rd grade and multiplication facts by the end. Please help your student practice basic subtraction facts daily for 5-10 minutes.
Try these tips: -Practice writing them down on paper -Practicing on the computer -Have a family member call them out orally. - Students can make their own flash cards
Students take timed tests every 2 weeks to achieve a personal goal. We want all of our students to feel successful.

Have your child make a list of topics he/she could do research about in the public library.Explain that this kind of writing is informational writing. Locate interesting facts about the topic.
