This week in Reading we will compare and contrast information on similar topics.

We only have 3 weeks until the Christmas break. Please make sure your child is working towards their AR goal.

Please have your child read each night for about 30 minutes.

Math:*This week in math, students will continue with 2 step word problems and dive into area.

*By the end 2nd quarter students will need to master subtraction facts from 0 - 20

Science:Students will take the major science comprehension test pertaining to magnets. A study guide will be sent home on Monday.

Social Studies: In Social Studies students will recite the continents and oceans poem. Dec. 2nd students will be required to write the continents poem legibly in cursive and recite it from memory. A study guide will be sent home.

Spelling:

No spelling words for the rest of the quarter.

EQTs will be administered the week before getting out for the break.
